Infrastructure and Facilities
The ORC is equipped with ultra modern facilities for learning. Twenty five departments are in place for its smooth functioning.
Training Centre Block
This Centre of Excellence for Higher Learning comprises of seven 150-seat well equipped seminar/training halls, a 400-seat mini auditorium, meditation halls, audio – visual room and a well stocked library.
Auditorium
A state-of-the-art Auditorium with 2300 seating capacity and translation facility in 12 languages is the crest jewel of the ORC campus.
Boarding & Lodging
Clean and comfortable residential accommodation with laundry facility is there for 500 guests/trainees. There are 10 dining halls to accommodate 1,500 persons. Vegetarian food prepared by Rajyogis is served.
Travel, Transport & Telecom
Air and rail bookings are arranged. Transport can be provided to ORC from railway stations and airport, on request. STD, ISD, Fax and Internet is available. Intercom is provided in AC rooms.
Medicare
A Happy Health Centre and Pharmacy with residential Medical Officer and a Homeopathic doctor is open for 24 hours service. Special clinics for Dental, Physiotherapy, Acupressure etc. are also available. Ambulance is available to cope with emergency conditions.
Solar Power Plant
The 200 KW solar power plant at ORC is the largest of its kind in India and has been partly sponsored by the Ministry of Non Conventional Energy Sources (MNES), Govt. of India. Since its installation, it has been a fine example for environment friendly solar power generation and has drawn students, engineers and scientists from various colleges and industry to ORC, who come to see the plant.
Spiritual Art Gallery
A Spiritual Art Gallery “From Darkness to Light” has been set up at ORC. It has life size models and paintings depicting ancient Indian culture and explaining the various spiritual principles governing our life. The models of various Indian deities and scenes of the golden age have been skillfully created by artists from Orissa and West Bengal to give a very pleasant experience.
Finances
As a basic tenet of the Brahma Kumaris philosophy, fees are not charged for any of our educational programmes or community services. All activities are funded by voluntary contribution by beneficiaries or their sponsors.
